The good price and quality make the manual cream separator Milky FJ 85 a great choice for small farms. It will help you produce cream, sour cream, and low-fat milk when you have limited access to electricity. With this hand-driven cream separator, you can produce between 80-100 liters (21.1-26.4 gallons) of milk per hour, making this the perfect machine for your everyday needs.
This modern hand-operated milk separator Milky FJ85, is a perfect solution for small farms and small dairy shops, even during blackouts!
The various types of milk, such as milk of cows, sheep, goats, and camels, are equally suitable for separation with this hand-crank cream separator. Its body is made of steel, while other parts are made of aluminum.
This model stands out from cream separators of other brands thanks to several key advantages, such as anodized aluminum discs inside the drum and highly durable, premium-grade polycarbonate components.
By “anodized discs,” we refer to aluminum discs that are coated with a special protective oxide layer of approximately 14 micrometers. This layer prevents the aluminum from reacting with the acidity of milk and significantly reduces direct contact between the metal and the product.
The aluminum drum and internal discs are therefore anodized, meaning they are protected by a stable oxide coating that helps prevent oxidation and corrosion. As a result, anodized aluminum is widely used in food-processing equipment, as it offers much greater durability and chemical resistance compared to untreated aluminum.
WARNING! This model is hand-operated. Before the usage and commencing the separation procedure, it is essential to pour in 200 ml of industrial oil. This will prevent premature wear and tear of the equipment’s internal parts.

Strengths and weaknesses
Description
How to use the manual cream separator:
Gently warm the milk to around 30–35 °C (86–95 °F) before separating. Milk that is too cold may not separate efficiently. Once the milk reaches the recommended temperature, simply pour it into the milk container and begin separating.
How much cream can you get?:
- From 10 liters (2.6 gallons) of milk, you will get about 1 liter (0.26 gallons) of cream.
- The cream will contain about 10 times more fat than the original milk. For example, if your milk has 3.2% fat, the cream will have around 32% fat.
- If you need cream with a lower fat content, you can mix it with the low-fat milk obtained after separation.
Quality and reliability of the separator parts
All separator surfaces that are in direct contact with milk are made of high-quality aluminum, which is not inferior in properties to stainless steel for separator’s purposes, but sensibly reduces the cost of equipment.
The body of the cream separator is made of durable steel.
This cream separator is made in Europe, in Slovenia
